Turkey-based non-governmental organization IT Media Association (BMD) held its 13th ordinary general assembly in Istanbul. As a result of the election held on April 17, 2026, the new board of directors and the distribution of duties of the association were determined.
IT Media Association: Focus points of the new term
The association management, which brings together media members in the IT sector, aims to support the development of the sector, increase professional solidarity, and contribute to the digital transformation process. In the new term, the board is planned to focus on efforts to raise journalism standards in the IT media, protect the rights of members, and support technology-oriented content production.

As a result of the 13th ordinary general assembly elections held with the participation of sector representatives, the names and duties of those who will manage the IT Media Association in the upcoming period are listed as follows:

Following the completion of the elections and the distribution of duties, a statement regarding the issue was shared by the IT Media Association. The statement included the words, “Our newly elected board of directors will start its work without slowing down to strengthen sectoral cooperation and support the development of the IT media,” concluding the general assembly process.
