ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the new Zephyrus Duo, described as the world’s first 16-inch gaming laptop featuring dual OLED screens. With its dual 3K OLED displays, high-end hardware, and modular usage design, the device targets both gamers and content creators.
Dual 3K OLED screens deliver an expanded workspace
The Zephyrus Duo features two 3K-resolution ROG Nebula HDR OLED touchscreens, offering a combined total display area of 21 inches. Both panels support a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 0.2 ms response time. The main display includes NVIDIA G-SYNC support for smoother gameplay, while peak brightness of up to 1,100 nits and DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification enhance contrast and detail in HDR content.
With Delta E < 1 color accuracy and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, the Zephyrus Duo is also positioned as a suitable option for professional content creation straight out of the box.
Flexible design with five usage modes
Thanks to its 90-degree adjustable kickstand and 320-degree rotating hinge, the device supports five different usage modes. These include dual-screen mode, traditional laptop mode, sharing mode, book mode, and tent mode, allowing users to adapt the setup to different workflows and scenarios.
The detachable magnetic keyboard measures just 5.1 mm in thickness and offers 1.7 mm of key travel. It can also be used wirelessly via Bluetooth.
High-end hardware and next-generation graphics technologies
The Zephyrus Duo is powered by an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor. On the graphics side, it features an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with a 135W TGP rating. Equipped with technologies such as DLSS 4, frame generation, and the latest ray tracing capabilities, the GPU is designed to handle demanding games and graphics-intensive workloads.
Performance is supported by the ROG Intelligent Cooling system, which includes a redesigned motherboard, a large vapor chamber, and a graphite sheet that fully covers the CPU and GPU to help maintain stable performance under load.
CNC-machined chassis and updated lighting
Housed in a CNC-machined Stellar Grey aluminum chassis, the Zephyrus Duo combines durability with a premium aesthetic. The 2026 model also introduces an updated Slash Lighting system, featuring 35 individual lighting zones encased in glass, offering expanded customization options.
