The Turkish-based technology company Reeder is expanding its mobility portfolio with the introduction of the Reev Aura, an all-electric vehicle specifically engineered for urban environments. Combining a compact footprint with sustainable energy solutions, the Reev Aura aims to redefine city commuting through efficiency and modern design.
Extended range and advanced battery technology
At the core of the Reev Aura lies a 31.9 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack, a chemistry noted for its thermal stability and long cycle life. According to CLTC standards, the vehicle delivers a driving range of up to 333 kilometers on a single charge, effectively addressing range anxiety for daily city dwellers. The powertrain features a 50 kW Permanent Magnet Alternating Current (PMAC) electric motor, generating 150 Nm of torque to ensure responsive acceleration and smooth handling in heavy traffic.
Versatile charging infrastructure
To meet the demands of fast-paced urban life, the Reev Aura supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to reach from 20% to 80% capacity in approximately 35 minutes. For overnight or workplace charging, the 3.3 kW AC charging system can fully replenish the battery in 9.5 hours. This dual-charging capability provides users with the flexibility to adapt to various infrastructure availability, whether at home or at public charging points.
Compact engineering and driving Dynamics
Designed to navigate narrow streets and restricted parking spaces, the vehicle measures 3,950 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. Despite its robust battery, it maintains a curb weight of 1,125 kg, contributing to its overall energy efficiency. The chassis is equipped with a McPherson independent front suspension system to enhance ride quality, while front and rear disc brakes provide consistent stopping power and safety.
Availability and delivery roadmap
The Reev Aura has officially entered the pre-order phase with a starting price of 1,000,000 TL. Available in various color options, the company anticipates a delivery timeline of approximately 90 days from the date of order. This launch marks a significant step for Reeder as it transitions from a consumer electronics brand to a comprehensive technology and mobility provider.
