Türkiye’s Automobile Joint Venture Group (Togg) Chairman of the Board Fuat Tosyalı announced that the T6 model, which will appeal to a broader audience, is targeted to be launched in 2027. Following the T10X and T10F, the T6 is expected to play a key role in Togg’s product range with its more accessible pricing.
Togg outlook shared in Davos
Speaking to Bloomberg HT during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Tosyalı shared up-to-date figures on Togg’s production and sales performance. He stated that the company completed 2025 with production of around 40,000 vehicles, while the total number of Togg vehicles on Turkish roads has exceeded 100,000. Tosyalı added that production and sales are currently progressing in balance and that there are no stock-related issues.
Gradual increase in production targets
According to Tosyalı, Togg is aiming for production of 60,000 units or more in 2026. The company plans to reach an annual production capacity of 100,000 units by the end of 2027. The introduction of new models is expected to play an important role in achieving this capacity increase.
T6 to target a wider audience
Commenting on the T6 model, Tosyalı said, “We will introduce a model that almost everyone can comfortably access, purchase, and use.” This statement indicates that the T6 will be positioned in a more affordable price range compared with the T10X and T10F.
Expected technical features and positioning
While official technical specifications have not yet been disclosed, expectations around the Togg T6 are becoming clearer. Industry assessments suggest that the T6 is likely to feature:
- A more compact body structure,
- A single-motor, front-wheel-drive configuration,
- A simpler equipment setup focused on everyday use,
- A battery capacity designed to balance urban and intercity driving needs,
- Togg’s existing digital infrastructure in terms of software and connectivity technologies.
With these characteristics, the T6 is expected to target consumers who want to switch to electric vehicles but have so far been held back by price considerations.
A new phase in Togg’s product strategy
Having focused on the upper and mid segments with the T10X and T10F, Togg aims to reach a much broader customer base with the T6. Scheduled for launch in 2027, the T6 is seen as a significant step that will not only increase the company’s production volume but also strengthen its competitive position in the electric vehicle market.
