Karea Fit

Turkey-based manufacturer Karel Kalıp has officially launched its 100% domestically funded electric micromobility vehicle, the Karea Fit. Following the commencement of mass production in March 2026, the vehicle is now available at a launch price of 699,000 TL (approximately $15,850). Designed as a practical and sustainable solution for high-density urban environments, the Karea Fit is fully compliant for use on highways and bridges.

Technical specifications and performance

The Karea Fit is powered by a 12 kW motor, enabling a top speed of 90 km/h and an acceleration of 0 to 50 km/h in 6 seconds. The vehicle utilizes a 9.98 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, providing a range of 135 kilometers on a single charge. Users can charge the vehicle via a standard 220V domestic socket, reaching from 20% to 80% capacity in approximately 2 hours.

Interior comfort and standard equipment

Despite its classification in the L7 category, the manufacturer has equipped the Karea Fit with features typically found in standard passenger cars. Standard amenities include air conditioning, a PTC heater, electric windows, and a central locking system. The driving experience is enhanced by Electric Power Steering (EPS), a hydraulic braking system, and a regenerative braking system that recovers energy during deceleration. The cabin also features a Bluetooth-enabled multimedia display, a rear-view camera, and parking sensors.

Warranty and after-sales network

Karel Kalıp has established a robust service infrastructure to support the Karea Fit rollout. The vehicle comes with a 3-year unlimited mileage warranty, while the battery pack is covered for 5 years or 100,000 km. Maintenance and repair services will be provided through a strategic partnership with RS Servis, and roadside assistance will be managed by Tur Assist.

Dimensions and localized production goals

Weighing 540 kilograms, the compact two-seater measures 2.63 meters in length and 1.49 meters in width, offering 184 liters of cargo space. While the current domestic production rate stands at 32%, Karel Kalıp aims to increase this figure to over 50% within the next twelve months.
